Haterz Hate On: Leona Lewis grabs the cover of HARPER'S BAZZAAR
I think it's pretty fair to say that you've officially "made it" as a popstar when you land the cover of a major European fashion glossy (sorry Fantasia, VIBE VIXEN just isn't good enough).
My homegirl, the iridescent Leona Lewis, graces the February 2008 cover of UK Harper Bazaar. The magazine praises Leona endlessly, going so as far as to call her the "first British diva to go global." That's what the fuck I'm talking about. Now THAT's how you do it.
Now as my faithful readers will surely remember, I previously engaged in a spirited debate over the merits of Leona's voice over the (singing frog) Fantasia Barrino.I told ya'll this lady was going to make it big, now didn't I? I see all kinds of golden grammy statuettes in this girl's future.

C'mon, lets get it into perspective, here. She hadnt even had a single released when she did that shoot. AND, you can pretty much do ANY magazine shoot when youve got Clive Davis and Simon Cowell paying for it!! Its all part of their plan for marketing and promotion for their 'Diva Clone'. Theyre 'creating' her.
Icon??? The girl can barely string an articulated sentence together, let alone having only been around a year!Credit whre credits due, she has a great voice, but she hasnt exactly come 'up throught the ranks'
Amy Winehouse- theres a real British, Global Diva, with a mind of her own, not a generic style.
