Barack Does It Again, Lands Cover of GQ Magazine

On the heals of his historic cover shoot for Vibe Magazine, Senator Barack Obama will grace the September cover of the super-swaggerish GQ Magazine. This will make Obama the first politician in 15 years to land a GQ cover (believe it or not Bill Clinton and Al Gore were the last to conquer that feat in 1992). Political analysts are divided: some are arguing that Obama is on the road to an inevitable publicity burnout (GQ will be the Senator's third "pop culture" cover in just as many months, following spreads for Men's Vogue and VIBE) while others feel that he is wise to capitalize off of his tremendous media appeal.
