I'm back. Well, kinda.

For the past two months i've been deeply immersed in the culture of academia (teaching, providing research assistance to one of my faculty advisors, re-writing a dissertation prospectus) and just have not had the time to update the new "canwebefrank.com" website the way that I would like to (can you tell by my melancholic gaze above?)
The situation has been exacerbated by the fact that the design template for canwebefrank is actually quite complicated to navigate/update (well, at least for someone as non-computer saavy as me). So as you can see the site has pretty much gone nowhere. In the coming weeks, after I have successfully defended my revised prospectus, i'll settle down and makes the necessary changes to the site and start things up again.
But for now, i've decided to just "come on home" and start blogging here at brooklynboyblues.blogspot.com. Is that cool? Did you miss me? Are there thoughts you'd like to share with me? Are there dreams, hopes, and (perverse) desires that we need to discuss?
Let's indulge. I’m here for you baby.
-Frank Leon Roberts

I prefer the blog 10 times over the Can We Be Frank website. Keep it simple (Blog), keep it real.
Lastly, keep up the great work.

I stumbled across your site and am pleased to make your acquaintance. Your blog harks back to my days hanging out the black glitterati and intelligencia of my youth. Donald, Essex, Craig, Alexander and the like would be proud.
