TOMORROW NIGHT: THE HOUSE OF LATEX BALL

Well folks, tomorrow night will be the legendary House of Latex Ball at the Roseland Ballroom. For the past sixteen years, the Gay Men's Health Crisis has sponsored this free event, which results in the testing of hundreds of mostly black and latino youth. Grand Prize is being sponsored by Brooklyn's People of Color in Crisis (P.O.C.C.). You've got to be there.
The Latex Ball is truly a legendary event--each year the crowd usually tops out at about three or four thousand. Some of you might recall that last year Janet Jackson made a surprise appearance at the event, which of course had the "children" up in arms [view clip here]. Will she be back this year, or will Beyonce take her place? We'll find out next week.
I'm also honored to be one of the award recipients of the evening, i'll be receiving the House of Latex Project's Inaugural Outstanding Community Member Award. Aw, what a nice Birthday present for little ol-soon-to-be-25-me.
See you there, dont be afraid to say "hello," if you see me out and about.

Also, check out these fabulous clips from previous Latex Balls:
