I dont know if im gonna make it guys....

Ok, im hungry. Yesterday, the day before I officially went on the Beyonce Diet (which was today) all I had to "eat" was:
2 cups of Orange Juice (in the morning)
1 cup of hot water with three tablespoons of citrus laxative (for dinner...tastes just like lemon tea!)
5 strawberries (late night snack)
1 granny smith green apple (late night snack)
Now here is it today at 6:14pm and I still haven't actually eaten any real food. Would I be a fat bastard if I decided to modify the Beyonce Diet to a juice and fruit diet? Or is that unacceptable? Its only day one-and-a-half of my diet!
But here's an even bigger crisis: McDonalds is right across the street and the BigMacs are on sale. Fuck.
To be continued....
***UPDATE: I did not eat the BigMac. Yaay. Im still on the B-Day Diet. Also, I did my "measurements" again and i'm 6'1 and 177 pounds. So thats the starting weight that we're working with.

My own stomach is growling reading what you consumed yesterday, lol, those portions were next to nothing. I would suggest that you get the Big Mac first lol, than start the diet. Maybe you should go on that 3 day diet where you can lose 10 pounds in 3 days and eat sensibly for 4 days and then you go back on it for 3 days and lose more weight. I know someone who did that and she lost alot of weight fast. Good Luck!

Frank, I just got off the phone with my best friend [who told me that you look fine the way you are] telling him how I'm going to start this diet next Monday. You can do it. Also something very important that you forgot to post is, you must take vitamins. Beyonce took vitamins and this helped with energy throughout the day and from passing out. You can do it!!

Frank, speaking as a fitness and nutrition professional, i HIGHLY discourage you from continuing this diet long-term or on any terms for that matter. I highly doubt that you will function optimally with such little caloric intake, and there was next to no mention of protein or fat, which are KEY elements of any successful diet.
What are your fitness/weight goals? E-mail me (jmhopkins@hotmail.com) and let me give you some advice to get you where you want to be. Because quite frankly, you would have to stick to this diet INDEFINITELY to retain the changes, and that would be a BITCH to bear.
And I hate to burst y'alls bubble, but Beyonce is a damn lie sayin' thats all she eats...with how that woman performs and makes appearances? PLEASE.

Frank you seem to be an extremely intelligent and driven person. I don't get what starving yourself will accomplish. Why don't you just eat more sensibly and exercise as opposed to starving yourself and punishing your body.

If you really wanna go through with this, you gotta look at it as a fast, not a "diet". But as someone said, you gotta take vitamins. And believe it or not, exercise can help curb the cravings. Either way, you're gonna need more sleep than usual, so make sure you're getting some winks when you'd usually be having a meal.

You are a better man than I because I'm already thinking about what I'm going to have for dinner by the time I get to work in the morning. LOL. I'd just say be careful of getting dehydrated (you know the cleansin and all). Dehydration is no fun.
PS: Am I the ONLY person that reads this that doesn't have a blogger account? Dang.

Wow, at 6'1 188, you must think I am a pig... lol I feel you on wanting to be tight for the summer though, trust... but I gotta say, I dont think you should starve yourself.
Folks get so tied up in the numbers, but I think it should be based on how you look. And you already look great. And my pov on weight loss has nothing to do with looking sickly or fem/masculine dynamics... its about health.
If you want to be trim, I say work out, and modify your diet in a healthy way. You CLEARLY dont have much (if any) to lose, but if you want to be more trim and stay that way, this isnt the way to do it. You cant sustain that diet long term. What happens after you start eating again?
We all are our own worst critics, hell I am bout to hit the gym for a couple hours after I submit this. But no matter how you intellectualize this in your head, this isn't a healthy nor long term path to fitness.

Frank - keep going I'm rooting for you, I'll be starting on Monday! Don't let these bitches deter you from your ultimate goal! After the diet, I'm quite sure you will have the willpower to eat sensibly and maintain.

Diet may not have been the best word to use in this case. Frank is doing a fast. He seems to be aware of the side affects that can occur when one fasts. People have fasted for thousands of years and for various reasons. I do this same fast twice a year. Once in the spring and fall. Unless he has some medical condition that requires him to eat, I doubt if this will harm him.
