the week ahead....
There's a lot going on this week. I'm definitely ready to get back to my life as an academic. The parties, the balls, the clubs, the gay blogger drama----I need to take a serious holiday from the gays. I cant wait for the semester to begin. But here's a sneak peek of a few things going on this week, beginning today.

Tonight at 5:30pm at the National Black Theater in Harlem, the New York State Black Gay Network is attempting to mobilize black gay men to attend the NYC Mayoral Forum on AIDS. The Network is encouraging folks to put pressure on the candidates to talk about the recent CDC 46% statistic thats been buzzing in all our ears lately. Please try to make it if you're in New York City.

I plan to attend Sunday's ball. It's going to be my first. Yay!
