New Photo Exhibit Opens in Brooklyn: Black & Latino Men "In The Life"

Recently I had the pleasure of being photographed by Delphine Fawundu-Buford for her upcoming exhibition, which opens this weekend in Brooklyn entitled Beyond Fierce: Photographs and Words of Black & Latino Men in the Life.
Delphine is a consummate photographer, sharp cultural critic, and just an all-around cool person. Be sure to check out this amazing exhibition while its on view from June 3rd to July 6th, right in the heart of Park Slope at the trendy and progressive black artist space, Harriet's Alter Ego.

Artist Bio:
A photographer for over 15 years, Delphine Fawundu-Buford is among the ‘young lions’ of Black photography. Her work has been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally by institutions like Museum of Contemporary Art of University of São Paulo, the International Center of Photography, the Anacostia Museum in Washington, DC and most notably the Brooklyn Museum of Art where her photograph, Patiently Waiting, graced the cover of the catalog-book of the “Committed to the Image” exhibition.
