Frankie passed his doctoral exams (whew)

Well folks, its official: this morning I received word that I successfully passed all three of my doctoral qualifying exams. Special thanks to my committee chair José Esteban Muñoz, Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett and Tavia Nyong'o for having mercy on me. It's scary to think about it this away, but im now 75% through with operation "Dr. Frank Leon Roberts" (that title will be useful for all of those future CNN appearances, no? LMAO)

All I need to do now is research and write a dam dissertation and I can finally be done with this crazy PhD thing. Sigh.

I also want to send a special thanks to all of the wonderful messages I received from you guys. It was much appreciated--thats wassup!


For the rest of the month I dont want to see, hear, think about, or especially READ another book! (nah, just kidding...)
