a "frank" critics choice: Djimon Hounsou

Djimon Hounsou's performance in Edward Zwick's new film Blood Diamond is absolutely exquisite. Though the film certainly has its problems in terms of its representation of Sierra Leone, Hounsou is breathtaking. In fact, I recommend it more than any other male dramatic performance this year. You've heard it here first.
