Jasmine Sullivan makes Cotton sound good. Real good.

Good Lord I love this woman. Who else could turn a Cotton Commercial into a hit? Philly born, Grammy-Award winning songstress Jasmine Sullivan has recorded a beautiful rendition of the "Fabric of Our Lives." First of all, she looks beautiful. Second of all, that girl can saaang. You can listen to the commercial clip as well as the full song below (which I officially am about to buy on itunes).

C'mon. All together now, "the touch, the feel, the cotton...the fabric of our lives!"

I want the Jazmine before the record deal!

Yes, Jazmine can definitely sang! I admit that I was surprised when I saw the cotton commercial for the first time. Happily surprised, that is. It's really great though. I'm so glad she's getting the exposure. It's proof that real talent can still get (and maintain) mainstream attention.
