"Precious" Exclusive Full Official Trailer (Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire)
The office trailer to Lee Daniel's film "Precious," based on the chilling novel "Push" by poet Sapphire has just been released. Looking very forward to this.
And I'm very pleasantly surprised to see my old NYU classmate Xosha starring as one of the supporting actresses in the film (check her out 1:05 in the trailer). Xosha was the "MTV girl" in my production at the 2007 POCC Ball at Webster Hall. Proud of her.
Cant wait!
it appears that they're playing it safe here and there on some of the characterizations, but of course i'll be supporting nonetheless... ambivalent about the oprah and tyler perry branding being necessary to get butts in the seats...
