"MY ASS HURT": UPDATE on RAZ B/MARQUES HOUSTON/CHRIS STOKES molesation accusations with working footage
was Chris Stokes "behind" this too?
I think it is fair to say that Raz B is on the verge of a major battle with Chris Stokes' legal team. Not surprinsingly, the former B2K's tell-all confession (accusing producer Chris Stokes of years of molesation) posted yesterday on youtube has been removed.
However, as expected, a few folks managed to make "copies" before the footage was canned. As mentioned last night, the two clips include mouth-dropping comments from Raz like, "my ass hurt" (referring to the molesation) and "I'm not gay, I'm a real man." The second clip ends with a nearly ten minute phone call showdown between Raz B's older brother and Chris Stokes.
It will be interesting to see how this entire scenario unfolds. What are your thoughts? Watch the clips while you can, we're not sure how long they'll last.
These allegations, though shocking (and tragic, if true), come in the context of a long history of queer sexual gossip about the boys of B2K. Hey, we all know my "thoughts" on Omarion. I'm still just wondering who was responsible for this come-get-it-while-its-wet photo of Marques Houston (which hit the internet about a year ago)?

*sigh* In all seriousness, I commend Raz for speaking on this, not only for his sake, but on behalf of all survivors of rape/incest/molestation, regardless of gender or the age at which it happened. Particularly in the black community, there is sooo much silence and confusion on this issue... hopefully this can lead to some larger healing.

Ah, too little, too late. Is there a statute of limitation on molestation? And why now? The time to speak up was before while it was happening or while you were pulling in the money. But now that you are fading into obscurity, you realize something wrong happened?. Also if Ricky Romance knew this was going on, why would he introduce his little brother to the situation or warn him to be careful? Don't get me wrong, I believe Chris Stokes molested the shit out of all these children, but I am disappointed in all of these people because some of it could have been prevented. Ricky Romance could have nipped it in the bud when it almost happened to him.

I dont think it's ever too late to speaku up about it. We can never tell what goes on inside someone's head when they had gone through this kind of situation. Please dont shift back the blame to the victims.

Some people come forward many years after being sexually molested for any number of reasons. The reasons include the victim feeling it's his fault, embarrassment, the victim believes he will not be believed, the victim may have "liked" it and feels guilty, threats made against the victim or the victim's family by the molester, if the molester was in an authority position over him he might have felt he would be jeopardizing his career.
The list goes on. A child victim of sexual abuse by an adult is NEVER at fault.
Some people "suppress" memories of the molestation, often for the aforementioned reasons, until years later. The laws of some states have been changed to reflect this reality so that the statute of limitation laws in some jurisdictions go into effect when the victim "remembers" the molestation (not when the event actually occurred).
Even if it's too late for criminal charges to be filed (and that is by no means certain) in this case there is the possibility that a civil suit can be filed against the molester. Better late than never.

On SOHH.com, a hip hop type website, there is an article about this incident. Many of those commenting about the article clearly think being a gay man is synonymous with being a predatory faggot/molester. This intense homophobia is frightening, although not surprising.

wow! This is sad. Oddly, the only surprise here is that no one is really surprised at this. We all knew something in that gallon of milk wasn't clean. It's just sad that their families trusted him with their sons and he abused them. How is a 12yr old boy to resist advances from the guy that holds keys to his career, livelihood and the glam life of being a star? Their parents and family failed them and owe them HUGE apologies. Chris should be jailed for this one although with his fancy lawyers, his case is likely to go the way of R. Kelly's ... i can't wait to see what comes of this.
