I have neglected you!

By now I’m sure you’ve noticed that my activity on this blog has become infrequent. There’s a couple of reasons for that, but primarily it has to do with the fact that many of the quirky ideas that I used to post on this blog now take place over on my Facebook page. I find that Facebook is a little more fun and lot more interactive.

If you would like to add me on Facebook, that’s cool, but please be sure to at least send me a message introducing yourself before you send me a friend request (and once you become my "friend," make sure you actually send me messages and stuff!)

I’ve been busy writing my dissertation and working towards the completion my Ph.D. This past semester I was blessed enough to receive three national awards: The Ford Foundation Dissertation Award, the CLAGS Fellowship of the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies, and the MARBL Fellowship (Manuscripts, Archives, and Rare Book Library) at Emory University. Cumulatively these three fellowships have put a little change in my pocket, which should allow me to dedicate all of next year to research and writing. Hopefully.

Continue to check back here periodically for artist profiles, random commentary, and event postings—and please be sure to bookmark my new website: frankrobertsonline.com

All the best,
Frank

Please post here more.

Frank, it's nice to read some of your thoughts again. Keep up the good work, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.

God Bless You,

Jamel(Mel) Smith

Frank, because I bookmarked you long ago for now forgotten reasons you remain in my consciousness. Blog, man. If for no other reason, for random west coasters like me that stop by from time to time.
